UCHI President Stephen Haluszczak’s book Ukrainians of Western Pennsylvania was published by Arcadia Publishing through its Images of America series in May 2009. The book presents the 130+-year Ukrainian experience in western Pennsylvania to readers via the presentation of 229 photographs and accompanying captions. Materials used in the book came from 67 different sources. The book is available for sale at local bookstores and on-line. All photos used in the book have been added to UCHI’s Archives Project in either electronic or original format. Ukrainian communities in Chicago, Philadelphia, and the Delaware Valley (eastern PA) also have books through this series.
